Taking into consideration the current focus of our society on the individual needs, the history teacher needs to put into value his/her own teaching potential, mainly when we talk about how we can develop it among the students over the study years at school. Nowadays, at the beginning of the new millennium, we are facing the need to transform the teaching-learning activity of history into a practical one, and the most important role when it comes to allowing students to understand history is played by the teacher. He/she is the person who has to combine the dynamic strategies with the learning tools, to make sure that he/she achieves the performance standards during each class. In the teaching-learning process of learning history the use of the computer is identified as an auxiliary technology of the entire educational-instructive process, which means that we define the notions by means of the computer assisted learning. This concept refers to the area of using computers in a theoretical and practical manner, with the remark that the activity of teaching history, in this article, refers to a person – the teacher – who has the role to present a few of the theoretical aspects regarding this perspective.
